The charging and energy storage solutions specialist Stercom has gained a strategic investor: The Zapi Group, a global leader in the field of electrification, is acquiring a majority stake in the successful company, awarded in the 'New Energy – Entrepreneurship' prize in 2024 by the Miesbach region.
Through this strategic partnership, Stercom secures important growth impulses for its location in Weyarn, its technology innovation and international business activities, especially in the field of e-mobility. Stercom is one of the leading suppliers of OnBoard Chargers for - off-road and on-road vehicle applications.
Investment important to develop the business location
"E-mobility - is a gigantic growth market. Our OnBoard Chargers also enable bidirectional energy flow and are playing in the technical pole position," says Robert Sterff, CEO and founder of Stercom. "With the help of Zapi, we are now taking the next step in growth."
The resulting synergies within the Zapi Group strengthen the areas of purchasing, engineering, sales and service at Stercom. In addition, the company can develop new market segments and thus improve international competitiveness.
