System Architecture Overview

The diagram shows the high-level integration of the BMS-X within an electric vehicle.
As the central safety and monitoring component of the high-voltage battery, the BMS-X measures cell data, supervises system health, and communicates with key vehicle domains such as the VCU, power electronics, charging units, and thermal management. This ensures safe operation, efficient charging, and reliable energy flow across all operating conditions.

BMS-X in Action
Stercom’s BMS platform is deployed in Siemens’ new energy storage systems for next-generation battery-electric trains. It provides precise cell monitoring, modular integration, and ASIL-capable safety architecture — ideal for the demanding operational conditions of railway applications.
